Romanian Women in Life Sciences

Romanian Women in Life Sciences is a Switzerland-based professional community and nonprofit association bringing together women with a Romanian background who work, research, study, lead, invest, advise, or build companies across the life sciences ecosystem.

Founded in October 2025, the network was created to provide a space for meaningful professional connections, knowledge exchange, career development, and increased visibility of Romanian women in life sciences. As of August 2026, the community brings together 60+ members with diverse professional backgrounds and career stages, spanning academia, biotech and pharmaceutical companies, medical technology, digital health, healthcare, consulting, entrepreneurship, venture capital, intellectual property, regulatory affairs, quality, data and AI, and innovation.
